This is a plan to go out to Ishigaki Island at night to look for subtropical creatures and starry sky.

Ishigaki is full of creatures and plants rarely seen in the mainland!

Also, the starry sky certified as the first starry sky protected area in Japan is like a natural planetarium.

The guide will take you to the recommended places depending on the weather of the day. If you are lucky, you may see a giant coconut crab...

  • Punctuality & Contact: Please arrive on time. If you are late without notice, your booking will be canceled and a fee will apply. If delayed, contact us in advance.
  • Pre-Tour Confirmation: We will confirm the meeting time and place by the day before. Provide a contactable phone number or email in Japan. If you don’t hear from us by 6:00 PM the day before, contact us via your ticket.
  • Participation Requirements: Ages 3–65 only. For safety reasons, the following cannot join: Pregnant guests Children 0–2 Those with medical conditions
  • Weather & Tour Operation: Tours run in light rain. If unsafe, we may cancel.
  • Preparation: Use the restroom beforehand (none on-site). Participation under the influence of alcohol is not allowed.
  • Timing: Meeting/return times vary with season and conditions.
  • Language: Tours are in Japanese or English. Depending on reservations, it may be Japanese only.
  • Participation under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited.

  • Please be punctual and gather at the main entrance of Ishigaki Port Terminal (Look for the red mailbox next to the central entrance of the Euglena Ishigaki Ferry Terminal) Please arrive at the meeting point at least 5 minutes before 7:30 PM on the day of the tour.

Sample schedule on the day of the tour

①Pick up at Ishigaki Port Terminal at 19:30

(Please be punctual and arrive at Ishigaki Port Terminal at 19:30)


②20:00 Arrive at the spot. Start jungle exploration and star gazing.


③21:00 End of jungle exploration and star gazing. Leave the spot.


④21:30 Tour ends. Dismissal at Ishigaki Port Terminal.

The schedule is subject to change depending on the weather on the day of the tour.
