Located in "Yanbaru National Park", this well visited tourist spot will let you experience the spectacular scenery of sheer rocky mountains, strange rocks, and subtropical natural forest.
From children to the elderly, the trekking course is easy to walk for the whole family!
The mountains of Ashimui have been passed down as a sacred place since ancient times and feel quite different from the rugged landscape seen at Cape Hedo. Once you step into the mountains, you will find yourself in a subtropical heaven.
There are four walking trails you can choose from, each showing various expressions of nature: strangely shaped rocks, huge stones, subtropical forest, and panoramic scenery overlooking the sea.
A "barrier-free area" with a gentle slope has been set up so that elderly people and people in wheelchairs can enjoy the nature experience with peace of mind.
There is also the Okinawa Stone Museum, Restaurant "Nantoya", a store, and a food kiosk in the area.
